At ISBC, we believe students are the Church. Our focus is to join with parents and the congregation in order to disciple students into lifelong relationships with Jesus Christ, and to grow in their own role as members of His Church. We do this by:
Teaching & preaching expositionally
Intergenerational discipleship
Helping students to form a community
Equipping students for Gospel ministry in their schools
Learn about the exciting and impactful work being done through our student ministry, led by our dedicated student pastor, Elijah. At Indian Springs Baptist Church (ISBC), we believe that our students are not just members of a youth group; they are vital members of our church family, and we are committed to helping them grow in their faith and fulfill their unique calling.
Students: More Than Just Participants
Elijah passionately emphasizes that our students are integral to the church’s life. They are not merely participants in activities but active contributors to our community and the body of Christ. This perspective shapes our approach to ministry as we partner with parents and the congregation to cultivate an environment where students can thrive spiritually.
Discipleship through Scripture
At the heart of our ministry is a commitment to teaching God’s word. Drawing from 2 Timothy 3:16, we understand the significance of scripture in guiding our students toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Through engaging lessons and heartfelt discussions, we strive to equip our young people with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges while grounded in faith.
Weekly Student Nights: A Place for Worship and Connection
Every week, we gather for our Student Nights, where students from grades 6-12 come together for worship, shared meals, and gospel-centered preaching. These evenings foster community, encourage friendships, and inspire students to grow their faith. It’s a vibrant space where they can explore their relationship with Christ in a supportive environment.
“Equip” Sessions: Delving Deeper into Faith
On Sunday nights, we host “Equip” sessions—an opportunity for students to engage in deeper discussions on challenging topics rooted in scripture. These sessions provide a safe space for questions, exploration, and growth as we tackle relevant issues that resonate with our youth today. We believe addressing these topics head-on will strengthen their faith and equip them to stand firm in their beliefs.
Join Us!
We invite all students in grades 6-12 and their parents to reach out for more information about our ministry and how to get involved. Whether it’s joining us for Student Nights, participating in “Equip” sessions, or simply being part of the church’s activities, there are countless opportunities to engage and grow in faith together.
Let’s continue to partner in prayer and action as we nurture the next generation of believers. Together, we can help our students develop lasting relationships with Jesus Christ and discover His unique callings for each of their lives.
